Our team of dental professionals provide all aspects of dental services for the whole family at our clinics. We focus on building close relationships with our patients, working together with them to achieve the optimum dental health.
Dr. Choy Keen Meng
Managing Director of TOOFDOCTOR
Dr. Choy graduated NUS on the Dean’s List and gained his experience working as the Dental Manpower Coordinator with SingHealth Polyclinics and later as the Dental Officer-in-Charge with the SAF. He established TOOFDOCTOR in 2005 to continue his passion in quality dental care, with special clinical interests in Dental Implants and CEREC restorations.
He completed his post Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology course conducted by the Centre for Advanced Dental Education at NUS in 2015.
Currently the Managing Director of TOOFDOCTOR and Clinical Director at TOOFDOCTOR Dental Clinic, Dr Choy might have been earning his keep as a sommelier, or a professional soccer player. His time away from the clinic is spent kayaking, cycling, or chasing after his four children who range from toddler to teen.
Dr. Tan Sze Hwei
Partner, TOOFDOCTOR
During her years of training as a dental surgeon, Dr. Tan was an award-winner, appeared on the Dean’s List, and also worked on the systematic provision of oral healthcare services to schools.
Dr. Tan is renowned for her gentle touch and patience with kids at TOOFDOCTOR. Dr. Tan plays the flute and saxophone, but spends much of her time with her two teen boys.
Dr. Diong Hai Jie
Clinic Head, Serangoon
Having spent most of his training years in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Prosthodontics, Dr. Diong joined TOOFDOCTOR in 2008 from the National Dental Centre. He is currently Clinical Director of TOOFDOCTOR Serangoon. When not involved in dental mission trips or traversing the world in his spare time, Dr. Diong scuba dives or takes part in marathons and triathlons, or running after his two children.
Dr. Raymond Poh
Clinic Head, TOOFDOCTOR Pinnacle@Duxton
After graduation, Dr. Poh spent his training days with the Health Promotion Board treating children and in attachments to the SAF. He was Dental Officer-in-Charge with the Navy, where he oversaw dental care for all enlistees and naval regulars.
Dr. Poh was in private practice prior to joining TOOFDOCTOR in 2007. He was also involved in dental mission teams under the Tzu Chi Foundation’s Tzu Chi International Medical Association. He is currently Clinical Director at TOOFDOCTOR Pinnacle.
An avid sportsman who plays soccer on the weekends and scuba dives, he also enjoys playing the guitar and composes his own music from time to time.
Dr. Toh Wei Hon
Clinic Head, TOOFDOCTOR Suntec
Dr. Toh is a Clinical Distinction graduate, and his training experience spans from the SAF, HPB’s School Health Service, the National Dental Centre, to also heading the dental mission teams under the Tzu Chi Foundation’s Tzu Chi International Medical Association.
Dr. Toh has been in private practice since 2005, during which he has been serving as Adjunct Lecturer at the NUS Faculty of Dentistry, and his interests lie in prosthodontics and restorative works, aesthetics, and paediatric dentistry. Dr. Toh set up TOOFDOCTOR Adelphi before moving the clinic to Suntec. Currently as Clinical Director of TOOFDOCTOR Suntec, he is considering fitting out the clinic with his vintage GI Joe collection as his home has been taken over by his 3 children.
Dr. Shervon Lum
Clinic Head, TOOFDOCTOR Toa Payoh
Dr. Shervon Lum is a Dean’s List graduate from the National University of Singapore. During her training years, she was awarded multiple university medals and book prizes. Most impressively she was the recipient of the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal for best student throughout the course of training.
Dr. Lum has been practising since 2003. She is currently the Clinical Director at TOOFDOCTOR Toa Payoh. She has various clinical interests from wisdom tooth and dental implant surgery, to restorative and aesthetics dentistry. She is warmly regarded by her patients as a gentle and caring dentist. Dr. Lum enjoys traveling, cooking, and eating.
Dr. Leng Shu Jun
Partner, TOOFDOCTOR
Dr. Leng joined TOOFDOCTOR after several years practising with the Health Promotion Board, the National Dental Centre, and at Singhealth Polyclinics, she was the Deputy Dental officer-in-charge.
When not in the clinic, she relishes reading and going off the beaten path with her ever-reliable backpack and her Amazon Kindle.
Dr. Ng Qiu Ting
Partner, TOOFDOCTOR
Dr Ng graduated from the National University of Singapore, having been a recipient of the Ngee Ann Kongsi Scholarship. Prior to joining TOOFDOCTOR, Dr Ng worked at the Singhealth Polyclinics and went on to be the Dental Officer-in-charge of several MINDEF Dental Centres.
A firm believer that a dental visit can be an enjoyable experience instead of a painful one, Dr Ng strives to show empathy and care to all patients alike.
Outside of work, Dr Ng enjoys a good read, regular yoga sessions, and does humanitarian work in third world countries.
Dr. Linette Low
Dental Associate
Dr. Linette Low graduated from the University of Queensland with Class I Honours, having received the Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement. She has also participated in several free dental fairs organised by Tzuchi Foundation in Queensland, bringing dental services to refugees and rural residents.
Dr. Low strives to make dental appointments a stress-free visit to all, with her gentle and empathetic touch.
In her free time, Dr. Low enjoys listening to music and spending quality time with her family.
Dr. Olivia Hong
Dental Associate
Dr. Olivia Hong graduated from Duke University and completed her dental training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. she also practiced dentistry in the USA before moving to Singapore and joining TOOFDOCTOR.
Dr. Hong offers complete and gentle dental care and she is committed to excellence in all that she does for her patients in the clinic. She ensures that all her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair and leave her office with a great smile.
In her free time, Dr. Hong enjoys scuba diving, skiing, travelling, and practicing pilates. She is also an avid fan of the Duke Basketball team.
Dr. Ng Sze Hwee
Dental Associate
Dr Ng obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore, where her group’s undergraduate research project was awarded the First Prize.
Upon graduation, she joined the Ministry of Health Holdings and devoted her time to public service in various institutions and dental centres. These include the School Dental Service, Health Promotion Board (Paediatric Dentistry), National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, National University Hospital (NUH), Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). This developed her skills and experience in treating patients of diverse age groups and dental needs.
In her free time, Dr Ng enjoys playing the guzheng. She is also an active volunteer at the Tzu Chi free clinic (Singapore). With her pleasant demeanour and empathy, Dr Ng strives to make every dental visit comfortable and enjoyable for her patients.
Dr. Wong Jian Zhang
Dental Associate
Dr Wong Jian Zhang graduated from National University of Singapore in 2008 and was awarded the outstanding undergraduate researcher group prize. After graduation, he worked in various institutions such as school dental clinics, the National Dental Centre, polyclinics and the Singapore Armed Forces before joining private practices. Growing up in a traditional Cantonese family, he learnt to speak fluently in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
From the past decade of practicing dentistry, he believes in treating patients as individuals rather than as a single tooth. The goals of treatment are to achieve aesthetic appearance, being able to eat and function well, and that the teeth are structurally sound and free of diseases and pain. It brings him great joy to restore teeth to their form and function using tooth colour composite resin fillings or with modern high strength ceramics. Proper maintenance and preventive care are also critical to prevent the diseases from manifesting again.
To attain knowledge for achieving these treatment goals, he regularly goes on courses for further training. The quest to gain more skills and knowledge has brought him around the world for continuous education. Apart from attending local courses, he has also travelled to overseas institutions such as Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA) at San Francisco, USA, Institute of Advanced Dental Education and Training (IADET) at Sydney, Australia for training. He is a regular attendee to various dental conferences such the International Dental Exhibition and Meeting (IDEM) and Hong Kong International Dental Expo and Symposium (HK IDEAS). He is also a member of the Singapore Dental Association (SDA) and the College of Dental General Practitioners (CDGP).
In his free time, he likes to travel and eat, and he understands the importance of having a healthy set of teeth for eating. One of his favourite foods is steak and without a set of strong healthy teeth, it would be a meal too hard to chew.
Dr. Cindy Too
Dental Associate
Dr. Cindy Too graduated from National University of Singapore and had a few years of clinical experience in various public institutions before joining TOOFDOCTOR. She was practising in National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, Singhealth Polyclinics, Health Promotion Board, School Dental Centre and National University Centre for Oral Health, where she was appointed the Deputy Dental Officer-in-Charge. This has allowed her to amass a wealth of experience in providing dental care to patients from diverse age groups and medical conditions.
Dr. Too is a firm believer of empowering her patients to become more dentally aware and, in turn, take charge of their own oral health. She resonates with the old adage “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” which inspires her to educate her patients on their dental conditions and encourage them to cultivate good oral hygiene habits early on. Her warm and friendly disposition coupled with her delicate touch is what makes dental visits pleasant and comforting for her patients.
During her spare time outside of work, Dr. Too finds delight in experimenting with creative baking recipes, unwinding with a good film and engaging in playtime with her cats.
Dr. Chin Hui Lin
Dental Associate
Dr Chin Hui Lin graduated from University of Queensland with first class honours. After graduating, she practiced dentistry in Western Australia before moving to Singapore.
With a gentle and caring manner, Dr Chin aims to provide quality dental care as well as a comfortable and pleasant dental experience for all patients.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, travelling and baking.
Dr. Jacomus Lim
Dental Associate
Dr Jacomus Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from Trinity College Dublin. During his time in Ireland, he worked in the Dublin Dental Hospital where he treated a wide range of patients, accumulating a vast amount of experience in the process. Dr Lim takes special interest in Restorative Dentistry and Periodontology, utilising his knowledge in the respective fields to empower patients with their dream smiles that is built upon solid foundations. He is also well-adept in treating nervous patients both paediatric and adults alike, striving to ensure that each visit is a positive and engaging experience.
Dr Lim believes that minimally-invasive Dentistry is in the best interests of his patients. As a big advocate of preventative Dentistry, he strives to equip all patients with the necessary skill set to maintain their oral health to ensure the longevity of their restorations. Dr Lim always puts his patients first and does his utmost best to ensure they feel comfortable and understand all of their treatment options.
Dr Lim believes that continuous learning and self-improvement are the hallmarks of a good clinician. He is highly-motivated in keeping up-to-date with the latest dental literature and always on the lookout for relevant courses to enhance his knowledge and technical skills.
Dentistry aside, Dr Lim enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Shermin Lee
Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr Shermin Lee is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS). She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2001 and graduated with distinction in Master of Dental Surgery (OMS) in the University of Hong Kong, 2006. She later obtained a PhD from the Radboud University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands in 2009. She worked at the National Dental Centre since graduating and as a consultant from 2010 to 2014, contributing to teaching and research. She was also the associate editor for the Proceedings of Singapore Healthcare involving with research and publications and was also appointed as a Clinical Lecturer for the National University of Singapore during this period.
She is an existing fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, a member of the Singapore Dental Association and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She contributed to the presidency for the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Singapore from 2009-2010. Her special interests are in dentoalveolar surgery and in dental implants. She loves her work and interacting with patients. Her hobbies are in photography and in appreciating nature and landscapes.
Dr. Tay Li Chye
Specialist in Endodontics
Dr Tay Li Chye is a Dental Specialist in Endodontics. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2003. He was consistently on the Dean’s List and received several awards including the Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery Gold Medal for being the best student in Dental Anatomy and Histology and the SDA Silver Medal for being the best student in Medicine.
After practising general dentistry for two years in the School Dental Service and at the National Dental Centre, Dr Tay went on to pursue his interest in the speciality of Endodontics. He graduated with a Masters in Dental Surgery (Endodontics) in 2008. In the following year, he was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
Upon completion of his specialist program, Dr Tay continued his practice of endodontics at the National Dental Centre Singapore. During his stint at NDCS, his passion for teaching saw him actively involved in the postgraduate program, an activity which he has continued to this day.
In 2011, Dr Tay joined Raffles Dental as a Dental Specialist and was subsequently appointed as a Managing Partner. He was also appointed a Visiting Specialist at the National University Hospital (NUH).
Dr Tay is currently a Visiting Specialist at the Department of Restorative Dentistry, National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). He is also involved in postgraduate endodontic teaching at the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a clinical tutor.
Dr Tay Li Chye is registered as a dental specialist in Endodontics with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC). He is a member of the Society of Endodontists Singapore (SES) and the Singapore Dental Association (SDA). He is currently serving as the chairperson of the Chapter of Endodontists, College of Dental Surgeons, Singapore (CDSS).
Dr Tay’s expertise includes non-surgical and surgical root canal treatments, vital pulp therapies, management of endodontic complications and mishaps, management of traumatic dental injuries, non-vital bleaching and the restoration of endodontically treated teeth. The disinfection of root canal systems remains his key research interest in Endodontics.
A firm believer in rendering an uncompromising standard of care, Dr Tay was awarded the Excellent Service Award (Silver) in 2009 and the Singapore Health Quality Service Award in 2010.
Dr. Priscilla Lu
Specialist in Orthodontics
Dr Priscilla Lu completed her Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Melbourne. During her undergraduate studies, she was on the Dean’s Honours list in her third and final year, and won the Leonard Hansen prize in dental research. She was awarded a scholarship in her final 2 years of dental school with the Pacific Smiles Group and joined their private practice for a few years after graduation. She went on to pursue her passion for orthodontics and completed her Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics from the National University of Singapore as well as the Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She is a registered dental specialist in Orthodontics with the Singapore Dental Council.
She was an Associate Consultant in the department of Orthodontics at the National Dental Centre of Singapore, and was awarded the Singapore Health Quality Service Silver and Gold awards. She is also a clinical tutor to the Postgraduate Orthodontic Programme at the National University of Singapore. Her experience in orthodontic treatment include early interceptive treatment for young children, comprehensive treatment from tweens to adults using fixed braces (metal, ceramic and self-ligating brackets) as well as aesthetic options such as InvisalignTM and lingual braces. She is well versed in the management of impacted teeth, malocclusions requiring growth modification and dentofacial orthopedics, as well as surgical orthodontics for patients requiring jaw surgery.
Dr Lu has published her work in peer reviewed journals and has a special interest in the co-management of dental trauma in young children requiring autotransplantation and orthodontics.
OHT Siow Jia Hui
Oral Hygiene Therapist
Jiahui completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the Nanyang Polytechnic in 2010. She joined Toofdoctor after working several years in both private practice and School Dental Service in Singapore. She is also a member of Association of Oral Health Therapist.
Jiahui enjoys interacting with patients of all ages, and considers her patient’s comfort as her top priority.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and reading.
OHT Dylan Tan
Oral Hygiene Therapist
Dylan graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. He has worked in private practice for several years before joining Toofdoctor in 2018. He is also a member of the Association of Oral Health Therapists.
Dylan strongly believes in preventive dentistry and patient education, helping patients understand the choices they can make to ensure good dental health. He is known to be gentle in practice and always putting in the extra effort in making every patient’s dental visit a pleasant and stress-free one.
Outside of work, Dylan enjoys travelling, singing, portrait drawing and picking up new languages.
OHT Michelle Voo
Oral Hygiene Therapist
Michelle received her Bachelor of Oral Health from University of Otago, New Zealand and she is a member of the Association of Oral Health Therapists (AOHT).
Michelle joined TOOFDOCTOR in 2014 and she is really excited to be part of the TOOFDOCTOR team.
Michelle is passionate in all aspect of oral health, aiming to educate and provide excellent care for her patients. She strives to help patients to achieve an optimum healthy smile throughout their lives.
In her free time, Michelle loves to spend her quality time with her family and friends, travelling, yoga, exercising to keep healthy.
OHT Huen Yanshan
Oral Hygiene Therapist
Yanshan is a registered Oral Health Therapist with the Singapore Dental Council and also a member of the Association of Oral Health Therapist. She attained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2011. Prior to joining TOOFDOCTOR, she worked in both public and private sectors.
Yanshan enjoys working hand in hand with the dentists to provide holistic dental treatments to patients of all ages. She finds great satisfaction in seeing improvements in her patients’ oral hygiene. Outside of work, Yanshan enjoys travelling and spending quality family time.
